These are helpful for reference and delightful as a trip back in time to revisit the joy and excitement of being a child during the holiday season. When the first Christmas catalog arrived how we pored over each page and photo. I still think my mother removed pages of expensive toys we could NEVER afford like Shirley Temple dolls. But all possible pages are here with lots of photos and original enticing descriptions, but all black and white as most were.
A DOLL FOR CHRISTMAS--catalog reprints, especially dolls and toys, from 1890 to 1953 Christmas catalogs on 128 pages, looseleaf 3-hole punched for reference, easy to look at, but also to be less expensive. $12 postpaid.
